Saturday Social Tennis

Members & Visitors

Saturdays 2.00pm. Fun, friendly sets to mix in, meet others and play casually. Need to serve, rally and score. Novice players will enjoy slightly later in afternoon. Bar and Clubhouse open.

Tuesdays 5.30 - 7.30pm. Fast, fun, friendly format. Need to serve (drop serve allowed), rally and score. New game every 15 mins.

Courts R240/hr, Lights R70/ hr in darker hours, Members log in for free play

Court reservation essential before play. Gate code for visitors with confirmation email.

Book Socials via Activities tab R70-100. Member Guest R70 via SnapScan at club.

CTC reserves the right to deny visitors use of our courts / facilities in the spirit of acceptable behaviour

Visitors receiving coaching are not entitled to make use of courts without paying when not engaged in a lesson

Dress code – sport tops and bottoms to be worn, non marking shoes

Court 1 is at the top and 8 at the bottom, 5 & 6 have floodlights in front of the clubhouse.

Please be mindful of neighbours. No play outside hours – Mon-Fri: 6am – 9.00pm, Sat: 7am – 9.30pm, Sun & Public Hols: 7am – 7.30pm.

Visitor cancellation fee R30. No fee in case of bad weather please contact us.

Membership includes court bookings, play in social tennis sessions & league matches where relevant.
Coaching and lights are not included. Own equipment needed.

Membership year starts 1st September.
Fees are pro rata until May.
3 & 6 month temporary options are available.
An R105 once off virtual card fee is charged.
CT Tennis Levy is included in annual membership fee.
The Claremont Tennis Club management committee reserves the right to grant / decline membership to applicants and members and has the right, in the spirit of encouraging an acceptable standard of play and behaviour, to withhold membership at any time when necessary
The club relies on members fees, we encourage members to pay the full fee where possible. Over 65s may apply for a discount if necessary and 20% discount is available for additional memberships within a family.
